How it works & privacy
1. Your files stay on your device
Videos are never uploaded or stored on any server. All processing runs locally in browser memory via WebAssembly.
2. First run caches the converter module
On first use, the browser downloads the converter engine (~30 MB from cdn.jsdelivr.net), which is cached for future visits.
3. Instant lossless processing
For standard formats (MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV), the tool copies the video stream directly and strips the audio track (stream copy) with zero quality loss in seconds.
4. Automatic fallback re-encoding
If the source file uses a legacy or uncommon format, the tool automatically re-encodes it into universal H.264 MP4 without audio.
