Convert CR3 to JPG

CR3 is the RAW format used by Canon cameras since 2018 (e.g. EOS M50, EOS R or 90D). The file usually also contains a full-size JPG that the camera saved at capture time — we extract it right in your browser, with no server uploads.

Drop CR3 files here or click to select
Supported format: .cr3 from Canon cameras (you can select multiple files)
💡 The "Original size" option extracts the JPG without re-encoding or quality loss. Files are never uploaded and no external module is downloaded.
🛡️ Camera details and GPS location are not transferred to the JPG (only image orientation is preserved).

How it works & privacy

1. Extracts the camera-saved JPG (does not develop RAW)

Colors and exposure match what the camera saved (Picture Style, white balance). RAW sensor data is not developed here: to adjust exposure or white balance, use Lightroom, darktable or Canon Digital Photo Professional.

2. Lossless original size without re-encoding, or optional downscaling

The "Original size" option is lossless and involves no re-encoding — we extract the exact JPG bytes from the CR3 container and only attach the orientation tag. If you need smaller files for the web or email, you can scale the longer side down to 4000, 2048, or 1080 px.

3. Everything runs in your browser with nothing to download

Files are never uploaded anywhere; everything happens locally in your browser with no external module to download. Only the required byte ranges are read from each file, so the tool works smoothly even with dozens of photos at once.

4. Privacy and metadata

Camera details and GPS location are not copied into the resulting JPG (only image orientation is preserved).
